KVKK Privacy Notice
1. Data Controller
Within the scope of KVKK, the data controller for the Dozify mobile application ("App") is Ümit Can Erim, the developer of the App.
2. Personal Data Processed
Dozify is offline-first. The App does not transfer any personal data to servers controlled by us. The following data is processed and stored only on your device:
- Date of birth (used only for age verification)
- Health data: medications, doses, injection history, weight, blood glucose, side effects
- Notification preferences and reminders
- App settings: language, units, theme
The following are never collected: name, email, phone number, government ID, location, device tracking identifiers. An advertising identifier is collected only if you explicitly allow it on Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and then only to measure whether the install came from one of our ads, never together with your health data. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
3. Purpose of Processing
The data above is processed exclusively for you to use the App's tracking features (medication tracking, reminders, vial stock, weight log, PDF reports). It is not used for any other purpose.
4. Legal Basis (Article 5/6 of KVKK)
- Explicit consent — accepted during onboarding before the App is used.
- Express request of the data subject — health data tracking is initiated by the user.
5. Data Transfer
Your health and tracking data is not transferred to third parties, including transfers abroad. That data stays on your device.
Four limited, non-health data flows do leave your device: (1) Firebase Analytics receives anonymous usage statistics (screen views, in-app actions, subscription conversion events) tied to an anonymous app-instance identifier, never your health data; (2) OneSignal receives a device push token and your app language (Turkish or English) to deliver notifications, never your medication/dose/health data; (3) RevenueCat receives only your subscription status for Dozify Premium, never payment details; (4) Meta (Facebook) receives an install/app-open attribution signal so we can measure whether an install came from one of our ads, and (only if you allow it on Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) your device's advertising identifier; never your health data. All four are governed by their respective privacy policies.
6. Storage Period
Data is stored on your device until you delete it (Settings → Delete My Data) or uninstall the App. There is no server-side retention.
7. Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Article 11)
Under KVKK Article 11, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed,
- Request information regarding processing,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with this purpose,
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- Request deletion or destruction of your data,
- Object to processing through automated means leading to a result against you,
- Claim damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing.
Since data is stored on your device only, you can exercise the deletion and access rights directly via the App. For other requests, contact us at privacy@dozify.app.
8. Application Method
To exercise your rights, send an email to privacy@dozify.app. We will respond within 30 days as required by KVKK.
