Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Dozify ("we", "our") is a medication tracking application designed to help users manage GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, Saxenda, and similar treatments. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Dozify mobile application (the "App").
Dozify is offline-first. The health data you enter is not collected, transmitted, or stored on our servers, and we cannot see it. All data you enter into the App stays on your device. The App does use a small number of third-party services for analytics, push notifications, and subscriptions; exactly what each one receives is listed in section 5.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, transmit, or store the following on any external server:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, government ID)
- Health data, which medication you take, your injections, weight, blood glucose, symptoms, notes, photos, or measurements
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers, unless you explicitly allow tracking on Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt: see the ad measurement paragraph in section 5
The App does receive the anonymous identifiers described in section 5 (an analytics app-instance ID and a push token). They exist only so anonymous usage counts and your notifications work, they are not linked to your name or email, and they are not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Your health data is never used for advertising. Nothing you log (medications, doses, injections, weight, blood glucose, side effects, notes, photos) is ever used for ad targeting or shared with an advertising network, whatever you answer on the tracking prompt.
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following information only on your device, in a local SQLite database and encrypted system storage:
- Medications, dosages, and injection schedules you enter
- Injection history and diary entries
- Weight and blood glucose measurements you log
- Vial inventory and expiry dates
- Notification preferences and reminders
- App settings (language, theme, units)
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (e.g., generating a PDF report and sharing it via email or another app of your choice). Deleting the App removes all data permanently.
4. Permissions We Request
- Notifications: to deliver injection reminders and vial expiry alerts. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
- Camera and Photo Library (optional): only if you choose to attach a progress photo: the photo is stored locally on your device, same as your other data.
- Apple Health (optional): only if you turn on weight sync in Settings. Dozify reads and writes your weight so it stays in sync with your other Health apps.
- Storage (Android only): to save PDF reports you generate.
The App does not request access to microphone, contacts, or location. Camera, Photo Library, and Apple Health are each optional and only requested at the moment you use the corresponding feature.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to collect anonymous usage statistics such as screen views, in-app actions (e.g. which features are used), and subscription conversion events. This data is tied to an anonymous app-instance identifier, not to your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information. Your health data (injection history, weight, blood glucose, side effects, diary entries) is never sent to Firebase. See Firebase Privacy for details.
The App uses OneSignal to deliver push notifications (e.g. dose and refill reminders). OneSignal receives a device push token so it can deliver notifications to your device, and the language you use the App in (Turkish or English) so announcements are sent in that language; it does not receive your medication, dose, or other health data. See OneSignal's Privacy Policy for details.
The App uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK for one purpose: measuring whether an app install came from one of our ads. On iOS the App asks for your permission first, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, or never answer, no advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected and Meta receives only Apple's privacy-preserving aggregate SKAdNetwork signal. If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier is shared with Meta so that the install can be attributed to the ad you saw. What is sent is limited to install and app-open attribution signals, your health data (medications, doses, injections, weight, blood glucose, side effects, notes) is never sent to Meta. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See Meta's Privacy Policy for details.
Dozify Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Those transactions are governed by Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies; we (via RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider) receive only your purchase and subscription status (whether Premium is active), linked to an anonymous app user ID, not your name and not your payment details. No payment card information is ever handled by Dozify.
This website (dozify.app) (separate from the App) loads a Google Ads conversion tag. It records one thing: that a visitor clicked an App Store or Google Play button, and on which page. It is configured for measurement only: ad personalization and Google signals are disabled, so your visit is not added to an advertising interest profile, and no health information you read or enter here is sent to Google. The App itself does not use this tag.
6. Children's Privacy
Dozify is for adults: our Terms of Service require you to be at least 18, and the App asks you to confirm your date of birth before you can use it. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them. If you believe a child has used the App, no personal data has been transmitted to us in any case, but you may delete the App from the device to remove all locally stored data.
7. Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store your data on our servers, traditional rights of access, deletion, or portability are exercised directly through the App:
- Access: all your data is visible to you within the App.
- Export: you can generate PDF reports of your data at any time.
- Deletion: use Settings → Delete My Data to selectively or fully erase data. Uninstalling the App also deletes all local data.
EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR and Turkish residents have rights under KVKK (Law No. 6698). See our KVKK Aydınlatma Metni for Turkish-language rights.
8. Medical Disclaimer
Dozify is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information in the App is for personal tracking purposes only. Always consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider before making medication decisions.
9. Data Security
Local data is stored in your device's protected app sandbox. We recommend enabling a device passcode, biometric lock, and full-disk encryption (enabled by default on modern iOS and Android devices).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
