Why the history is the hard part
Months of injections, weigh-ins and side effects are the reason people stay in an app they have stopped liking. Nobody retypes a year of shots, so the record becomes the lock. Moving it across is the only part that matters.
The columns Dozify looks for in a Shotsy export
Open your exported file and compare the header row. Dozify matches a column by any of these names, and it does not mind capitalisation or a unit written in brackets. Anything it cannot place is listed on the preview screen by name, so you can see what was left out rather than wondering.

Nothing is written until you say so
The preview shows how many weights, injections and side effects were found, the dates they span, how many are already here, and how many rows could not be read and why. Dozify writes an automatic backup to your device first, and the import itself is one transaction: if anything fails it is rolled back completely, because half an imported history is worse than none.
What comes across, and what does not
Imported: weight entries, injections with date, time, dose, site and notes, and side effects with their severity.
Not imported: vials, progress photos and check-ins: either there is no equivalent or the mapping would be a guess, and a guessed record is worse than an absent one.
Add a medication first if you want injections. A logged shot has to belong to one. If you have not set one up, the preview says so and brings in weights and side effects only; add the medication and import the same file again, and nothing already here is added twice.
If the file is not recognised
Dozify says so rather than importing zero rows quietly. Any CSV with a date column will read. If yours does not, send it from Settings → Suggest a feature and the format gets added: a file we cannot read is our gap, not yours.
